Brigham And Women's Hospital Says It Lost Patient Info

Law360, New York (August 5, 2011, 6:25 PM EDT) -- Boston's Brigham and Women's/Faulkner Hospital announced Friday that one of its doctors had lost an external hard drive that may contain medical information for 638 patients.

The hard drive was lost June 21, Brigham and Women's said. The data that may be on the device includes patients' names, medical record numbers, dates of admission for hospital stays, medications, and diagnosis and treatment information.
