John Deere Rotary Cutter IP Suit Tossed

Law360, New York (August 9, 2011, 6:02 PM EDT) -- An Iowa federal judge on Monday dismissed a patent suit brought by tractor maker Deere & Co. against rivals Bush Hog LLC and Great Plains Manufacturing Inc., overriding the defendants' request that the court first determine the validity of the Deere patent.
