Innospec Says Afton 'Stonewalling' Antitrust Suit

Law360, New York (August 9, 2011, 8:05 PM EDT) -- Fuel additive company Innospec Inc. on Monday accused rival Afton Chemical Corp., the plaintiff in a Virginia antitrust suit over Innospec's admission that it bribed Iraqi and Indonesian officials, of stonewalling its discovery efforts by objecting to 55 deposition topics.

The discovery dispute arose out of Innospec's efforts to conduct a Rule 30(b)(6) deposition of Afton. Both sides have accused the other of abusing the discovery process.
