Kirkland Raids 3 Firms In Push For Asian Transactions

Law360, New York (August 10, 2011, 1:35 PM EDT) -- Kirkland & Ellis LLP has raided senior partners from three major law firms to launch a full-service transactional practice in Hong Kong as it pushes toward its goal of having nearly 50 lawyers in Asia, the firm said Tuesday.

The firm hired three partners from Skadden Arps Slate Meagher & Flom LLP, including two co-heads of Skadden's corporate practice in Asia, excluding Japan.
