Jury Finds Vlingo Didn't Infringe Nuance Speaker IP

Law360, New York (August 9, 2011, 11:22 PM EDT) -- A Massachusetts federal jury on Tuesday found that a Nuance Communications Inc. patent was valid but determined that rival speech recognition technology company Vlingo Corp. had not infringed it.

The jury said that Vlingo did not infringe on any of the 30 claims asserted by Nuance regarding U.S. Patent Number 6,766,295, titled "Adaptation of a speech recognition system across multiple remote sessions with a speaker."
