Fired Muslim Auditor Hits PwC With Bias Suit

Law360, New York (August 10, 2011, 7:08 PM EDT) -- PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP was sued Tuesday in Florida by a former senior manager who says the accounting firm fired him after he criticized its diversity policies with regard to the hiring of Muslim and Arabic employees.

Issam Azziz, a Muslim of Arabic and Moroccan descent, was terminated from his position after saying in an interview with the company's newsletter that he was “very disappointed” in PwC's diversity practices, according to the complaint.
