National Beef Recalls 60K Pounds Of Meat Over E. Coli

Law360, New York (August 15, 2011, 2:42 PM EDT) -- A National Beef Packing Co. LLC processing plant in Kansas recalled more than 60,000 pounds of ground beef products that may be contaminated with E. coli, the U.S. Department of Agriculture announced Friday.

The company recalled the products, boxes of ground beef chubs produced July 23 and 25, at the behest of the USDA's Food Service and Inspection Service.
