DOI Violated Constitution By Ending Oil Leases: Suit

Law360, New York (August 16, 2011, 5:58 PM EDT) -- Statoil Gulf of Mexico LLC sued the U.S. Department of the Interior and the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management in Louisiana federal court on Monday, accusing them of unconstitutionally denying its request to extend three of its offshore oil well leases.
