Regal Beloit To Divest Motor Units In AO Smith Deal

Law360, New York (August 17, 2011, 6:49 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Department of Justice and Regal Beloit Corp. reached a proposed settlement of antitrust claims Wednesday under which the company will divest its U.S. electric motor business and an A.O. Smith Corp. entity in order to acquire AOS’ motor business.
