Exxon Sues DOI Over Rejected Drilling Lease Extension

Law360, New York (August 18, 2011, 3:25 PM EDT) -- Exxon Mobil Corp. sued the U.S. Department of Interior in Louisiana last week, saying the agency rejected a drilling lease extension for a billion-barrel oil field because a new lease would allow the agency to cash in on work already done by Exxon.
