CAE Adds Medical Simulator Co. METI For $130M

Law360, New York (August 24, 2011, 1:18 PM EDT) -- CAE Inc. announced Wednesday that its health care unit had acquired medical simulation technology company Medical Education Technologies Inc. for $130 million.

Adding METI's global reach to CAE Healthcare will expand its capabilities in the market for simulation-based technology for health care worldwide, the parent company said. The deal is expected to add CA$120 million (US$121 million) in annual revenues to Saint-Laurent, Quebec-based CAE, and to be profitable by fiscal 2013, it said.
