Entergy To Improve Quality Control At Nuke Plants

Law360, New York (August 25, 2011, 2:14 PM EDT) -- Entergy Corp. has agreed to make changes at its entire fleet of 11 nuclear power plants to address concerns that an Arkansas employee was retaliated against for bringing up safety issues, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission announced Wednesday.

An NRC confirmatory order, issued Wednesday, requires Entergy to reorganize its chain of command for quality control employees and conduct employee training on regulations prohibiting retaliation against workers.
