EPA Puts Off Some GHG Reporting Requirements

Law360, Washington (August 25, 2011, 4:31 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency said Thursday that it would delay the reporting date for certain pieces of data required under its mandatory reporting of greenhouse gases rule, punting the deadline to March 2013 for some and March 2015 for others.

In December, the agency solicited comments for a 60-day period on why inputs into a company's emissions equation could be considered sensitive business information, as well as comments for 30 days on its proposal to delay the requirement.
