Warner Chilcott Drops $5.5M In Ovcon Settlement

Law360, New York (June 13, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Warner Chilcott Ltd. agreed Tuesday to pay $5.5 million to settle an antitrust lawsuit brought against it by 34 states and the District of Columbia over an authorized generics agreement involving the oral contraceptive Ovcon.

Under the settlement, which is still subject to court approval, Warner Chilcott said it would not enter into any more agreements designed to keep generic competition off the market.
