Teva Nixes Suit Against Apotex Over Parkinson's Drug

Law360, New York (August 26, 2011, 3:16 PM EDT) -- Teva Pharmaceuticals agreed to drop its patent infringement claims against Apotex Corp. in Florida federal court on Thursday, ending the short-lived battle over a generic version of Parkinson’s disease drug Azilect. 

U.S. District Judge William J. Zloch ordered the case to be dismissed without prejudice. It was not immediately known if the dismissal was part of a settlement agreement.
