Medtronic Insulin Pumps Open To Cyberattack: Hacker

Law360, New York (August 25, 2011, 7:03 PM EDT) -- Cybersecurity expert Jay Radcliffe, who earlier in August demonstrated in Las Vegas that he could hack into his own insulin pump, revealed Thursday that the device was made by Medtronic Inc.

Radcliffe claims that Medtronic's Paradigm pumps, which can connect wirelessly to computers and other devices to help patients monitor their health, are vulnerable to cyberattack.
