Worker Slaps Tyson Foods, Union With NLRB Claims

Law360, San Diego (August 25, 2011, 7:13 PM EDT) -- A Tyson Foods Inc. meat processing worker in Wisconsin filed charges with the National Labor Relations Board alleging that union officials illegally threatened retaliation after he failed to show support for the union, the National Right To Work Legal Defense Foundation said Thursday.

Gregory Langron lodged the claims on Aug. 16 against Tyson and the United Food & Commercial Workers Local 538 union. Langron alleges that the union violated its duty of fair representation and that both parties violated the National Labor Relations Act.
