RE/MAX International Settles Trademark Suit Vs. LendingTree

Law360, New York (December 4, 2004, 12:00 AM EST) -- Real estate franchise RE/MAX International, Inc. has settled its trademark lawsuit against online mortgage broker LendingTree, Inc., the two companies said.

The companies said they had settled their dispute amicably, but declined to divulge any details of the agreement.

RE/MAX had filed a lawsuit in U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado in August 2003 with a nine-count complaint.
