Verizon Tries To Dodge $115M Patent Verdict

Law360, Los Angeles (August 30, 2011, 8:07 PM EDT) -- Verizon Communications Inc. on Tuesday asked a Virginia federal judge to overturn a jury’s $115 million verdict against the company for infringing on-demand video patents held by ActiveVideo Networks Inc., saying the evidence presented at trial was insufficient.
