Vinson & Elkins Reps Forum Energy In $300M IPO

Law360, New York (September 1, 2011, 4:49 PM EDT) -- Global energy products manufacturer Forum Energy Technologies Inc. filed with federal regulators on Thursday for a $300 million initial public offering of its stock, the latest in a flurry of oil and gas companies to announce plans to go public.

Forum, a provider of rig gear for land and offshore drilling projects, had total assets of $818 billion and sales of $750 billion in 2010, according to an independent audit filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. J.P. Morgan Securities LLC will underwrite the offering....
