Flint Adds Carson In $165M Canadian Oil Deal

Law360, New York (September 1, 2011, 3:09 PM EDT) -- Canadian oil and gas services company Flint Energy Services Ltd. on Thursday announced an agreement to purchase privately held Carson Energy Services Ltd. in a cash and stock transaction valued as high as $165 million.

Buying up Carson will significantly expand Flint's presence in the growing oil production center in the Canadian provinces of Saskatchewan and Manitoba, as well as eastern Alberta.
