Microsoft Defends Xbox Patent Suit Win In Fed. Circ.

Law360, Washington (September 7, 2011, 6:58 PM EDT) -- Microsoft Inc. defended its win in a patent infringement suit over video game network technology before the Federal Circuit on Wednesday, saying a district court correctly construed the claim terms that were allegedly wrongly treated.

Two inventors sued Microsoft in 2004 for infringing a patent and its reissue that allegedly cover some elements of the voice and data communications technology used in the company's popular Xbox Live.
