Chic 'OneZ' Infringes Baby 'Onesies' Mark, Gerber Says

Law360, New York (September 6, 2011, 4:08 PM EDT) -- Gerber Childrenswear LLC launched a suit in South Carolina federal court Tuesday accusing a hip, new clothing retailer of selling stylish jumpsuits under the brand “oneZ” in violation of the company's trademark for infant and children “onesies.”

Use of the term “oneZ” and a “oneZ” logo on products made by California Christiania Republic LLC and its CEO Tonny Sorensen is likely to cause confusion among consumers with Gerber's term “onesies” and its associated logos, the complaint says.
