Women, Minorities Still Underrepresented In Law: Study

Law360, New York (September 6, 2011, 4:43 PM EDT) -- Women and minorities are making inroads in the legal profession, but they still face problems reaching its top levels, according to a study released last week.

More work needs to be done to make the legal world more diverse, said Marc S. Firestone, chairman of the Chicago-based Institute for Inclusion in the Legal Profession, which commissioned the review that was published Aug. 31.
