Greenberg, Ropes & Gray Sued Most So Far In 2011

Law360, New York (September 7, 2011, 3:43 PM EDT) -- The nation's largest law firms have faced more than 70 suits so far this year, with Greenberg Traurig LLP and Ropes & Gray LLP among the most-sued firms, according to federal court filings reviewed by Law360.

Seventy-three suits have been filed against 54 of the country's 250 biggest firms in federal court between Jan. 1 and Aug. 31. The majority involve claims of breach of contract and labor violations, while some include malpractice, securities violations and civil rights claims.
