Demand For Legal Services Up In Texas: Report

Law360, New York (September 7, 2011, 10:26 PM EDT) -- The demand for legal services, particularly in the intellectual property, energy, and mergers and acquisitions fields, remains strong in Texas, according to a report released Wednesday by the Federal Reserve System.

The Eleventh Federal Reserve District, which includes Texas, northern Louisiana and southern New Mexico, reported "continued solid demand" for legal services in the region in the Fed's Beige Book, a report published eight times per year, detailing the economic conditions in each of the Fed's 12 districts.
