NASDAQ, WorldCom Investor Head Back To Court

Law360, New York (June 18, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A WorldCom Inc. investor who sued the NASDAQ stock exchange in the wake of the scandal that eventually bankrupted the company will get another day in court on Tuesday, when an appeals court rehears his case.

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit will rehear a case filed by Florida attorney Steven I. Weissman, who filed a suit claiming that NASDAQ was responsible for the losses he incurred when WorldCom's stock dropped drastically after an accounting scandal rocked the company.
