Enviros Tell DC Circ. EPA's Hot Spot Rule Violates CAA

Law360, Washington (September 12, 2011, 2:17 PM EDT) -- Attorneys for environmental groups told the D.C. Circuit on Monday that the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency implemented hot spot emissions regulations that contradict its own interpretation of the Clean Air Act.

The case stems from the Natural Resources Defense Council and Sierra Club's challenge to the EPA rule making on the CAA's air quality standards, saying it is inconsistent with law.
