Hunton & Williams, Smith Gambrell Grow IP Practices

Law360 (June 18, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Four Atlanta intellectual property attorneys have switched firms this summer, taking advantage of a thriving, and constantly shifting, IP law market.

Robert Lockwood and Eric Hanson, formerly partners at Smith, Gambrell & Russell LLP, have moved to Hunton & Williams LLP. Laurence Colton and Nigam Acharya, left Powell, Goldstein, Frazer & Murphy LLP to join Smith Gambrell.

Lockwood works with a number of industries on prosecuting patents, developing license agreements, and protecting all kinds of intellectual property. He declined to talk about his reasons for moving....
