FTC Urges Pay-For-Delay Limits To Ease Deficit Woes

Law360, New York (September 12, 2011, 6:32 PM EDT) -- U.S. Federal Trade Commission Chairman Jon Leibowitz on Monday urged Congress to restrict pay-for-delay drug patent settlements that the agency has long criticized as anti-competitive, in order to lower federal deficits without hiking taxes or cutting government programs.
