Ex-Stark Reagan Attys Can Bring Age Bias Suit: Court

Law360, New York (September 14, 2011, 7:21 PM EDT) -- A Michigan appeals court on Tuesday reversed a lower court’s ruling that dismissed two former Stark Reagan partners' age discrimination suit against the firm, saying the attorneys’ suit was not barred by an arbitration clause in a shareholders’ agreement.

The Michigan Court of Appeals overturned a lower court’s decision granting summary judgment to Stark Reagan and the eight other partners named as defendants in the suit, and remanded the case for further proceedings.
