Forest Tries To Block Plaintiff In Celexa/Lexapro Suits

Law360, New York (June 18, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Forest Laboratories Inc. has urged a judge to deny the request of one of the plaintiffs in the multidistrict litigation involving blockbuster antidepressant drugs Celexa and Lexapro, arguing that time limitations prevent the addition of a Forest subsidiary to the complaint.

On Friday, Forest entered a motion in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri, hoping that the court will reject Mark Bibbee's demand to amend the wrongful death suit filed in the wake of his relatives' deaths.
