SEC Ends Probe Over Schawk Restatement

Law360, New York (September 14, 2011, 1:59 PM EDT) -- U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission staff on Tuesday dropped their probe into potential accounting violations by Schawk Inc., saying they would not recommend the agency take any enforcement action against the brand development company.

In light of the agency staff's recommendation, no further investigation is forthcoming in connection with a 2008 earnings restatement made by the company, according to Schawk.
