J&J Units, Kremers Urban End Concerta Patent Suit

Law360, New York (September 14, 2011, 7:58 PM EDT) -- Two Johnson & Johnson units on Wednesday settled their patent infringement suit in Delaware federal court against Kremers Urban LLC and Kudco Ireland Ltd. over Kremers and Kudco’s bid to tap into the lucrative market for the attention deficit hyperactivity disorder drug Concerta.

Kremers and Kudco conceded that several claims of a patent asserted by Alza Corp. and Ortho-McNeil-Janssen Pharmaceuticals Inc. in the case were valid and infringed by the filing of the abbreviated new drug application that triggered the lawsuit, according to a consent judgment...
