Sodexo Settles RICO Claims Against SEIU

Law360, Los Angeles (September 15, 2011, 7:32 PM EDT) -- Sodexo Inc. and Service Employees International Union said Thursday they had settled a lawsuit by the food service giant accusing the labor group of engaging in illegal tactics in its attempts to recruit Sodexo employees.

"With this settlement, we can begin the process of resuming a constructive relationship with the SEIU that is consistent with Sodexo's strong record of respecting our employees' rights under national labor laws with more than 30 other unions in the U.S.," said Robert Stern, Sodexo’s general counsel.
