Monday Senate Action May Lead To FTA Votes, Reid Says

Law360, New York (September 16, 2011, 7:14 PM EDT) -- Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., said on Friday that he would schedule a preliminary vote for Monday that could lead to votes on the much anticipated free trade agreements with South Korea, Panama and Colombia.

The Monday vote would be on a trade bill called the Generalized System of Preferences, which was passed by the U.S. House of Representatives on Sept. 7.
