Fed. Circ. Won’t Rehear ThyssenKrupp Elevator IP Fight

Law360, San Diego (September 16, 2011, 6:52 PM EDT) -- ThyssenKrupp Elevator Americas Corp. on Friday lost a bid for the Federal Circuit to re-examine its decision reviving Inventio AG’s suit accusing ThyssenKrupp of infringing two patents for updating an elevator system.

In a brief order, the Federal Circuit rejected ThyssenKrupp’s petition for a panel rehearing or a rehearing en banc of the appeals court's June reversal of a finding that Inventio’s patents were invalid for failing to meet the definiteness requirement.
