Small Businesses Contest NLRB’s Union Rights Posting Rule

Law360, San Diego (September 16, 2011, 8:51 PM EDT) -- A small business trade group reportedly launched a suit Friday against the National Labor Relations Board in Washington federal court, challenging a rule requiring employers to post workplace notices informing employees of their right to join a union and discuss working conditions.

The National Federation of Independent Business argues that the NLRB lacks the authority to force companies to put up posters or tell them what they must say to their employees, according to an Associated Press report.
