Court Vacates Injunction In Pipe Fitting Patent Suit

Law360 (June 19, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- An appeals court granted Parker Hannifin Corp. a victory in a patent suit over pipe fitting technology, vacating an injunction that barred Parker Hannifin from selling products alleged to infringe two patents owned by OmegaFlex Inc. and reversing a lower court's decision to grant summary judgment of validity with respect to OmegaFlex's patents.

In a 10-page opinion, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit remanded the case back to the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts.
