SAP Agrees To Buy Business Networker Crossgate

Law360, New York (September 20, 2011, 5:17 PM EDT) -- German software company SAP AG said Tuesday it had struck a deal to buy business-to-business e-commerce provider Crossgate for an undisclosed sum.

Crossgate, already a working partner with SAP, provides integration services to businesses, smoothing electronic data exchange between companies regardless of their technical capabilities, according to a statement issued by the companies. SAP plans to use Crossgate's expertise to help customers collaborate, share data and automate processes.
