Tobacco Cos. Say 1st Amendment Bars New FDA Labels

Law360, Washington (September 21, 2011, 3:14 PM EDT) -- R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Co., Lorillard Inc. and other tobacco manufacturers on Wednesday asked a Washington federal judge to put a halt to the rollout of U.S. Food and Drug Administration's new cigarette warnings, which they claim will violate the First Amendment.
