Intel, Apple, HP Sued Over Microprocessing Patent

Law360, New York (September 23, 2011, 4:03 PM EDT) -- X2Y Attenuators LLC hit technology heavyweights Intel Corp., Apple Inc. and Hewlett-Packard Co. with a suit in Pennsylvania federal court on Friday, alleging the three companies have infringed its patents covering microprocessing technology.

X2Y, which describes itself as “an intellectual property company that develops advanced passive component solutions for the electronics industry,” alleges that Intel, Apple and HP have made and sold microprocessors and personal computers containing microprocessors that infringe on its patent.
