DOE's $194M In Uranium Deals Broke Fiscal Law: GAO

Law360, Chicago (September 26, 2011, 5:23 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Government Accountability Office said Monday that the Department of Energy violated fiscal law by failing to make a U.S. Treasury deposit equal to the value of surplus uranium it gave a contractor in exchange for $194 million worth of cleanup work.
