House Committee Greenlights Safety Bill

Law360, New York (June 20, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The U.S. House of Representatives Energy and Commerce Committee unanimously approved a bill that would renew drug user fees, strengthen drug safety and would not change current law for pediatric market exclusivity—unlike a bill that passed the U.S. Senate.

After the 39-0 vote Thursday night, the drug user fee can now head to the full House, likely next month.
