BDR Thermea Parent To Buy Out PE Minority For $807M

Law360, New York (September 30, 2011, 3:18 PM EDT) -- Heating and hot water systems maker BDR Thermea Group said Friday that its parent, Remeha Group BV, agreed to pay $807 million to buy the 40 percent interest in BDR Therma owned by BC Partners and another private equity firm.

The value of the deal wasn't announced publicly, but a person familiar with the transaction confirmed the price. The source said the price meant BDR Therma's value was nearly $2.7 billion.
