Verizon Takes Aim At FCC Net Neutrality Rules

Law360, New York (September 30, 2011, 8:53 PM EDT) -- Verizon Communications Inc. announced Friday that it had challenged the controversial net neutrality rules the Federal Communications Commission adopted in December, which were published in the Federal Register on Friday and are set to go into effect Nov. 20.

The telecommunications giant, which claims the rules exceed the FCC's statutory authority, said it had filed an appeal in the D.C. Circuit.
