China Stops Imports Of Oysters From Washington State

Law360, San Diego (September 30, 2011, 9:21 PM EDT) -- A Chinese regulator said Friday it had halted imports of raw oysters from Washington state in response to the U.S. Food & Drug Administration’s announcement that people became sick after eating oysters from a region of the state that were contaminated with a certain type of bacteria.
