Kolon Faces Sanctions In DuPont Antitrust Case

Law360, New York (October 4, 2011, 7:55 PM EDT) -- A Virginia federal judge said Tuesday that Kolon Industries Inc. would be sanctioned for failing to turn over documents in its antitrust case against DuPont Co., after warning a Paul Hastings LLP attorney representing Kolon not to “act petulantly.”

U.S. District Judge Robert E. Payne found Kolon in violation of a prior order for failing to produce documents from ex-DuPont worker Michael Mitchell — who previously pled guilty to trade secrets theft and obstruction of justice — and other individuals by a Sept. 20 deadline....
