Teva Sues Over Congestive Heart Failure Drug

Law360 (June 22, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. has filed a lawsuit asking a court to determine if a Czech company's confidential plans to manufacture and supply the active ingredient in a congestive heart failure medication made by GlaxoSmithKline plc infringe four Teva patents.

Teva and a U.S. subsidiary filed the lawsuit against Zentiva SA on Thursday in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
