HPE Puts $22M Into Laser Cutting Technology

Law360, New York (October 6, 2011, 7:14 PM EDT) -- Holland Private Equity BV is taking a significant stake in Synova SA, the two announced Thursday, and will invest 20 million Swiss francs ($21.7 million) to help the Swiss company develop its laser cutting technology and enter the global market.

Amsterdam-based HPE pledged up to $21 million to become Synova’s largest outside shareholder and give the pioneering company the funds to expand sales of its water jet guided laser cutting systems, the parties' press release said.
